My daughter told me about a friend of hers who is launching a some Christmas crackers this year called Crackers without the Crap. Apparently they are plastic free and filled with bee friendly seeds which I thought was a lovely idea. I know there is a crowdfunding campaign gor them so I will be asking DD for the link to support it. Anyway, as soon as I heard the name I thought I would never forget it! I got to thinking of other clever comapny names or taglines that stick in your memory, I remember once visiting a chip shop called the Codfather!

Many years ago, while on holiday in Scotland, we passed a TV Repair Shop called 'Telly On The Blink' - which I thought was hilarious. Let's face it, you'd never forget who to contact when your telly wasn't working - would you ;-).

There was an Inn about half way between Anchorage, AK and Fairbanks, AK, a distance of about 578 km or 359 miles. It was called "Skinny Dick's Halfway Inn".
This was about 40 years ago though. Not sure, but it may be still there.

As the area is known as 1066 country, the cement mixer bore the legend “ William the Concreter”.

My dad used to go to a bar called ‘bottoms up’.
Mum presumed it had something to do with the expression used when having a drink.

When it featured in a James Bond movie he didn’t get to go again!

Casting my mind back to when Christmas Crackers were in fact actually a looked forward to treat. Primarily because the other 364 days of the year were not full of today's tatty crap. Which I never buy. So, thank you very much but I'll stick to the crackers, hat.joke & novelty.
