Presumably she's given up on men and decided she is better off alone.
I can definitely relate to that!

Free spirit will do for me.

All these new descriptions irritate and annoy me.

I could be described as a ‘miserable old git’ or ‘the life and soul of the party’ depending on my mood of the day. ?

EllanVannin, absolutely and I've met a few!!

I must admit when I read the phrase "self partnering" , I did wonder if it was unique euphemism!shock

Glad I'm not the only one who wondered exactly what she meant. Has she created a doppleganger?

Probably a good idea to read the article first.

Callistemon Wed 06-Nov-19 10:43:47

As partner means one of two people who are in a relationship or one of a pair eg for sporting activities, self-partnering is a contradiction and meaningless.

Multiple personality disorder is a psychological condition which normally needs treatment.

I would have thought happily single would have explained that better.

DoraMarr Wed 06-Nov-19 10:22:24

I f you mean do I have fun by myself, like meals out, theatre, concerts, gallery visits alone, then yes. I think what the people in the article were saying is that they have decided not to be pressurised by friends and relatives into coupledom. Judging by some of the sad stories on GN that seems like a very good idea.

Self partnering.?
I think that is the phrase Emma ? Someone is calling herself.
With conscious uncoupling by another actor, where will it all and I ask myself
