Would it be considered rude of me to ask how old we are? I’m surprised for example to read if a poster is a great grandmother or is ‘going out to work now’.

I’m 65y.

annsixty... My birthday is late September, so that makes you older than me..... So I'm not quite the oldest on here!

CassieJ so far! ?

PernillaVanilla Mon 11-Nov-19 10:09:44

63, the age my father was when he died, which is a sobering thought, when I still shop at Topshop. Still working full time, DH has a new job on 2 days a week which seems about right to me.

Marydoll Mon 11-Nov-19 10:10:15

I'm 64, but about 15 in my head!

I have got most people's ages wrong.
I thought our more senior grans were much younger! grin.

Annsixty, does being the eldest , make you the Queen Gran?
I shall bow, every time I read one of your posts. grin

annsixty Mon 11-Nov-19 10:11:39

I don't quite know yet how I am going to celebrate my (probably) brief moment of glory.
Buy new elastic stockings?
Order in more tena ladies?
Stay up until 9pm?
Or have a few cocktails tonight.
Answers on a postcard please.

ninathenana Mon 11-Nov-19 10:39:00

I'm 65. I retired ten yrs ago from my p/t job to help with child care and am very lucky to be born at the beginning of 1954 so I just scraped in on claiming my pension this year.

BradfordLass72 Mon 11-Nov-19 10:42:57

When I first get up in the morning, I'm definitely 107.

After a cup of decaf coffee and a slice of Paleo toast I lose a few years and by 7am, after taking my vitamins, I'm almost young enough to go for a shower.

Once I've had my shower, dressed and quaffed another cup of coffee I'm 72.8 and I stay that age until the next day.

Then I'm 107 again......grin
