I feel sorry for Prince Harry

Apologies - I thought my first post about this had been lost and now I've found it.

I've just seen an interview with a royal photographer who has known the princes since they were boys. He said Harry is lovely and very kind. He also said Harry never had a problem with the press. This man has travelled thousands of miles with Harry and said that at the end of tours, Harry would take members of the press out and foot the bill. He said that since he met Meghan he won't talk to, or even look at them. He was sad.

I too feel very sorry for Harry. He comes across to me as being very needy and at the moment Megan meets that need. I am concerned however that in future life with Megan in LA he may well be like a fish out of water, and back in his spare role. I just hope that she doesn't ditch him.

KatyK, that doesn't mean that Magan's views caused the change. He was friendly with the press - but having the responsibility of a wife and child to consider, and protect, is a totally different situation.

I don't know. This man implied that he didn't like Meghan so could be blaming her when it's not her at all. Yes I agree, Harry had new responsibilities now.

I cannot see why having a wife and child should make Harry less friendly with the press, or his brother, or indeed anyone. I cannot see why having a wife and child should make Harry not want to spend a weekend at Balmoral with his elderly grandparents, or spend Christmas at Sandringham with his father, brother, and grandparents.

Lots of opinions. Personally I think he should do what he wants BUT not with our money! He either gives up his royal title and sails off into the sunset or he doesn’t! Can’t dip in and out, accept the money and declare he wants his freedom! Wouldn’t we all love to be paid thousands, get priority treatment, mansions renovated and not have to work for it?

Anyway have they had “the meeting” yet? Things may have changed while I am waiting for a train ???

I’ve just watched their engagement interview on you tube. Just over two years ago, but my, how things have changed. It was all about team work, doing lots for the Commonwealth, the great love and respect for the Queen, how welcoming the Royal Family had been....
However, Harry did say that their relationship would always come first, which seems to be the case.
Let’s hope some sort of solution is found for all concerned.

Was Harry's parentage ever proved who his Daddy really is ? That's bound to have affected his life and sense of belonging ? What if he gets a DNA test and it's proved that he's not Royal after all . ( He maybe knows already )

I am an American so you can take my comments with a grain of salt. I think Megan wants her cake and eat it too. She wants to be a part of the Royals but she wants none of the responsibility. She wants to do what she wants when she wants it. I thought they were so in love and wonderful when they married. I think Megan is showing her true, spoiled colors and that will strain any marriage.

You can’t say that - you must be a racist you know. No one is allowed to have a negative opinion of the woman without being called out as a racist. However, I do agree that’s how it looks.

I also notice that since being asked to provide examples of the racism directed at M and these nuances, certain posters have gone quiet.

I’m also fed up of this nonsense regarding H’s parentage. He is Charles’ son. He actually looks likes D of E and Diana’s sister has red hair.

I think any speculation about his parentage is frankly bloody grubby whether you’re saying it was PC or not. Grown women, mothers and grandmothers even think it should be discussed. Yuk
