Which do you prefer, for me it’s got to be nighties all the way lol

Pyjamas and bedsocks - my feet are always cold! Sleeveless pj top though - don't like long sleeves.

Long sleeved nightdress in winter because my arms always find their way out from under the duvet and then I wake up when they get cold. Short sleeved nightdresses in spring and autumn and very fine cotton PJs on hot and humid summer nights.

TrendyNannie6 is surely a misnomer. Knickers in bed? ?

Esspee Sat 08-Feb-20 21:06:47

Neither for me.

Nightie every time. PJ are lovely and warm but too hot in bed. Night night ? x

Nighties for me. Although I have bought several pairs of pyjamas over the past few years but they just feel uncomfortable in bed.

PJ bottoms with a vest top. Can't stand long sleeves in bed.

TrendyNannie6 Sat 08-Feb-20 18:31:07

I wear knickers in bed under my nightie lol

SirChenjin Sat 08-Feb-20 18:26:12

PJs with knickers and socks. In the summertime it’s pj shorts, vest top, socks and knickers! Quite how we conceived 4 times I don’t know. I use to hate waking up to a nightdress bunched up around my chest so haven’t worn them for years.

BlueSapphire Sat 08-Feb-20 18:09:04

Neither! Only wear knickers in bed. PJs are just for lounging. Will probably be in them all day tomorrow as not venturing out in Storm Ciara!

Into my P.Js as soon as i get home then into my nightie for bed.

rosenoir Sat 08-Feb-20 15:38:21

Always wore a nightie until moving to a cold house now its pjs.

Went away with a friend that wore the same pjs for 3 nights, surely that is the same as wearing the same underwear for 3 days.

Cherrytree59 Sat 08-Feb-20 15:25:13

Almost nothing, wear clean knickers.
When grandchildren sleep over wear shortie pyjamas.

maytime2 Sat 08-Feb-20 15:16:14

Why do the sizes have to be 12/14 etc ? I find that size too small and 16/18 too big. Why not have the sizing that is used for dresses size 12 or 14.
I prefer pyjamas, shorty ones in the summer.

kittylester Sat 08-Feb-20 15:12:40

PJs with a bust support thing in the top bit. They are getting really tatty but M&S ones now are really fitted vest tops which is not a good look if you have rolls of fat!

Sleeveless mid length nighties for me. Don’t like pyjamas at all

Wheniwasyourage Sat 08-Feb-20 14:56:56

Either, depending on my mood when I'm taking them out of the drawer.

jo1book grin
Me too.

It varies according to how I feel but I think the same as travelsafar. They have to look good just in case.
I have an assortment. Warmer winter and cooler summer pjs, short/long satin nighties. Short cotton nighties.

HurdyGurdy Sat 08-Feb-20 12:12:29

PJs for me. I hate the way nighties ride up. Maybe I'm just too shuffly in bed grin

travelsafar Sat 08-Feb-20 12:12:26

PJ's always. I worry in case i get ill and taken to hospital or there is a fire and i have to get out of the house in my night clothes. At least i will be well covered !!! smile

JuliaM Sat 08-Feb-20 12:12:05

Nighties, but the have to be the big soft cotton t-shirt type long enough to cover below the knee.

JackyB Sat 08-Feb-20 12:09:04

I wore pyjamas once and woke up naked. I think I took them off in my sleep because I was too hot.

jo1book Sat 08-Feb-20 12:00:47

Gone over to Nighties as I like to feel the wind in the willows at night. Get very hot. Need to lie spreadeagled - terrible, terrible sight.

Farmor15 Sat 08-Feb-20 11:50:34

Light pyjamas since menopause. Although I'm not particularly overweight, my thighs seem to get sticky and uncomfortable and feel better with something on. Same with summer dresses.
