Who do you think of as charismatic ?

I think many of us are confusing charisma with sex appeal, beauty, lust frankly.
Men in particular don’t have to be particularly attractive to be charismatic.

Jeanette Winterson, the only one on my list. Did anyone see her giving the Dimbleby lecture and speaking for an hour ? Without notes, without notesfolks. She is incredibly charismatic. Her lecture was awe inspiring.

I think charisma is something you have to experience first hand. I don't think you can 'feel' someone's charisma through television, for example. Live theatre maybe.

I remember I met Karl Howman an actor I liked from Brush Strokes. He did say he would bring a signed photo next time he was in the gym I worked. That never happened in fact he didn't like to talking to anyone. Zero charisma.
Another dream came true when I got to see Diana Ross in concert only for her to cut her set short because someone was filming her
