And apparently William practised getting that baby seat into the back of the car with a doll first. He will have been nervous doing it in the glare of all those flashbulbs. I don’t blame him!

Coming out of hospital with No 1, still wearing a maternity dress, too sore to walk properly, I would not have liked to have slapped on the makeup and faced the papparazi.
Then all the anxieties about breastfeeding.

I hadn't suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum either, although pregnancy wasn't a breeze.

Most new mothers are anxious, whether they have no help, have family to help or a nanny.

I think Catherine is empathetic and concerned about those who are having problems.

Anniebach I don’t know what anyone thinks and experiences, I just keep an open mind and try and see things from the respective point of view. That’s not being a narrow minded person that always has to take the side of the underdog without any expression of real understanding. Some posters always have to grind their ‘poor unfortunates’ axe. Are you really saying a young couple , whether they make demands on society or not, should abort a third child because they should have “thought of the world”

Well HettyMaud, DH was one of 4. If my in laws had stopped at 2 the NHS would have had one GP less for an entire career.
It is simplistic to make it a simple case of numbers.
