Got to thinking just now - can we be kind about posters❓

Dottygran59 I'm relatively new to GN, but like you, I now feel as though I know some of the regular posters, even though I've never met them (more's the pity!). Like Supernansgirl I love the sense of humour of some of the regulars, they really brighten my day.

I rarely post but read every day. I find most posters very wise but love the ones who display a good sense of humour/fun.

Granniesunite - what a fantastic username!! I too am more of a lurker (reader) than a poster, and agree with you that I have learned so much from being on Gransnet. Perhaps you and I should resolve to post as well? Let others get to know us as we have got to know them (without them even knowing). What a beautiful, uplifting thread for a miserable Monday. Thank you Urmstongran for starting it

I don't post ofter myself but MARYDOLL, DRAGONFLY, URNSTONGRAN, GRAMMARETTO and all the regular posters above, I would like to thank you all for the times when unknown to yourselves, I've laughed cried and been lifted by your posts. Kindness can be a life saver. And MAW I love your posts.Keep posting ladies we " lurkers" or as I prefer to call myself readers love all the intellegant chat.

GillS nice to see a new poster on here, hope you enjoy the chats. I agree with you about Marydoll She is very kind and her feelings often coincide with mine.

Marydoll such a kind thoughtful lady,she has so much ill health but always a kind word for others.

Marydoll I have only posted a couple of times so no one will know me, but I love reading your GM posts. You are such a lovely, kind lady and make many of us happy with your novellas, thank you.

Dragonfly Is going through a lot at the moment but you never hear her complain and always has kind things to say to all.

Brunette beat me too it! She too is a lovely lady, quiet and unassuming, the exact opposite of me!!! ?
We first met when I persuaded her to come to an Edinburgh meet up. I'm so glad I did.
Her family are her world, she gives so much of herself to them.

I always like to hear from Mumofmadboys. Seems “sensible” lady, family orientated and we share our Christian faith

Having met Grammaretto, a few times, I can tell you she is a lovely, talented lady. She makes me smile when I meet her.
Always upbeat, despite an ill husband she always has something kind to say on the Good Morning thread.

As you are above Urmstongran, I will probably repeat what others have said. I always find your posts kind and good humoured and sensible.

I don't post often but have been reading GN for a couple of years and I feel as if I almost know some of the people on here!
I was reading this on the phone in bed, but came through when I saw your name pop up again! (Easier to type on laptop in this room), though I could have said the same about all the others.

I have met Grammaretto and she is a very kind, intelligent and thoughtful lady. She should be proud of herself.

I always enjoy Urmstongran’s posts, interesting, informative, sometimes chime with my views, sometimes don’t, but then give me another viewpoint. Above all, always kind.

I am new to the group,so don't really know anyone, but Grammaretto and all the previous posters are showing thoughtfulness and kindness. Long may it continue. I love this thread.

Calendargirl's posts show an organised mind and someone who's a keen observer. You think before you speak. Also a very early riser.

Imagine MawB is quite a stylish lady, judging from her posts, and pictures of her clothes.

BradfordLass brings much common sense and a great sense of humour to her posts.
She has more patience than I do!

Of course I don't know cornergran or her posts really, but every time I see the name I think of the lovely lady who ran the corner shop at the end of our road. She was a gran too.

It was a sweetie shop and if I went in for thre-penceworth of 'spice', on a Saturday, usually my favourite coconut mushrooms, she'd weight them out, then pop in one extra or ask me to open my mouth and pop it in there

So lovely memories when I see that name
