I'm an ardent Sheffield United fan - nickname The Blades. And our song - Greasy Chip Buttie (really!!) is to the tune of Annie's Song by John Denver. I wanted to be AnnieBlade but it wouldn't let me me hence BladeAnnie

I used to be Numberplease, as in my younger days I was a GPO telephone operator, had to change it after a few years, but wanted something still connected to telephones. It was later pointed out to me that the name had other connotations!

Because I'd been reading an article about the mini moons orbiting the earth, and was quite taken with the idea.

Badcrumble is a name that Eddie Izzard uses in his comedy shows. My darling children DD30, DS21 have decided when they have babies I’m to be called Nanny Badcrumble- or Nanny Numpty!

I have no imagination whatever. I think I might rejoin and make an effort to choose somethjng more meaningful. But I'll probably spend days thinking about it.

I didn't choose mine, it chose itself...accidently. The 52 is my year of birth. I was fiddling about trying to come up with something happy and optimistic. I was thinking of things with bright in, like bright star, shining bright and finally settled on 52brightandbreezy. Unfortunately I pressed the button before I was finished and ended up becoming 52bright. Hmm ...not very bright of me

Cos that's where we were living when first joined. Since then, back in Darzet, name has not changed - love it still.

Because I have not much imagination! I admire those that pick witty names, references to ancient Greek goddesses, or references to literary characters, but alas, not very quick witted!

First half of my Mums Name and first half of my Dads Name. Use it a lot. When I was much younger and had ambitions to be a novelist - I intended to write under this name.
