The silver lining... Plusses from the 'panic'

We find ourselves in a frightening situation that we can't control, one silver lining is that we'll resort to the good old British sense of humour to get us through when appropriate.

Just had another Silver Lining moment! My hairdresser is booked to cut my hair next week and I've been wondering about having it much shorter and realise that if I do I won't be seeing many people so if it's awful it really won't matter because hardly anyone will see it.

A professor on tv is undertaking a study on seratonin (sp?) and found that people with high levels recuperate faster and are less susceptible to diseases, so a good reason not to wallow in misery.

I used to be a worrier but trained myself out of it. Life is so much better now.

Nobody chooses to wallow in misery, nobody. Some people through no fault of their own have lower seretonin.

Not a silver lining but at least something funny. There are so many people working from home it seems.
