Let’s hear it for cats!

seacliff Sat 14-Mar-20 16:13:41

Oh lovely Baz, he looks like a bigger version of my Scampy.

seacliff Sat 14-Mar-20 16:15:31

Our Lexi, as a kitten.

sharon103 Sat 14-Mar-20 16:17:28

That made me laugh

We were once owned by a cat!

I know what you mean though grin

Jane10 Sat 14-Mar-20 16:54:19

Kalu our first Maine Coon was just like that ginger one. He didn't have the lovely nature that Baz has and was a grumpy old thing. He lived till he was 19 though - despite himself!

Jane10 Sat 14-Mar-20 16:55:17

Seacliff- lovely pusses!

AGAA4 Sat 14-Mar-20 16:58:08

My daughter's rescue cat has had her nose put out by 9 month old grandson. She was always the centre of attention.

Not to be outdone, when I arrive for a visit she gets as near to me as she can and yowls till I put the baby down and make a fuss of her.

Such lovely cats you all have.

Our Gizmo is on a diet, as he is over 7 kilos, and does look overweight. He has lost half a pound so far. It is tough on him, poor boy. So am I, for both of us, weigh day is Thursday. I reckon he will beat me and get to his target weight first. grin

SueDonim Sat 14-Mar-20 17:10:40

Here are my boys today.

Fran3669 Sat 14-Mar-20 17:15:45

I love this thread; nearly as much as I love cats grin

We have two secondhand/preowned cats. Both are Ragdolls and were acquired separately.

In the house they bicker like any typical brother and sister but, outside, they pair up and look after each other.

I brought my daughter up properly so she, too, has a cat who has sent me a ‘Grandma’ birthday card....

Fran3669 Sat 14-Mar-20 17:19:03

Jane10 Snowball looks a lot like our Charlie from that angle

Scribbles Sat 14-Mar-20 17:22:58

The grey tabby is Lucy, my owner and manager; the other beauty is Poppy who has recently adopted my daughter.

seacliff Sat 14-Mar-20 17:30:42

oohhh ….gorgeous. Would love to stroke them all.

GabriellaG54 Sat 14-Mar-20 17:30:55

Lots of lovely and funny photos of your beloved cats.
??
I have no pets but I'm guessing that you all have no BP problems due to the calming effect of stroking and talking to your moggies.
Long may it continue.

SueDonim
Tweedledum and Tweedledee grin

SueDonim Sat 14-Mar-20 17:34:43

Every single one of these cats is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your pics! ❤️

seacliff Sat 14-Mar-20 17:35:20

Good to see you back Gabriella.

SueDonim Sat 14-Mar-20 17:36:00

I know, Gabriella! We’ve had them 3.5years and still get them muddled up. grin

Artdecogran Sat 14-Mar-20 17:44:01

Never posted pic before hope it’s worked. My 2 Burmese indoor cats. They are now 18 months old and real characters. They are called Merry and Pips. Merry likes to play fetch like a dog and if I don’t pay attention she lands on my lap, even if I have my dinner on my lap!

Jane10 Sat 14-Mar-20 17:49:06

Fran Snowball is a Ragdoll too. He looks so angelic but he's a naughty fighting boy and comes home covered in all sorts of nasty things. DD is devoted to him which is just as well considering what she's put up with from him!

Fran3669 Sat 14-Mar-20 18:18:48

Jane10 I’m the same with our two, as is my husband. They tell us what they want and, invariably, we give in to them.

Charlie is too lazy and friendly to fight and he only tends to stray outside the garden at night. Misty, who’s younger and our lovely girl, brings us lots of balloons and elastic bands as gifts; infinitely preferable to mice and birds!

SueDonim Sat 14-Mar-20 18:48:58

Burmese cats are gorgeous. A friend had four of them, all different colours and they were such sooks, they wanted to be cuddled all the time.

TwiceAsNice Sat 14-Mar-20 19:13:20

Lovely lovely photos . Amie is a British Shorthair grey and light brown with white patches. Not sure I know how to send a photo on here, I’m not very “techie”

GabriellaG54 Sat 14-Mar-20 19:15:35

Thank you Seacliff It's good to be back. ?

Kalu Sat 14-Mar-20 19:53:46

What gorgeous boys SueDonim. We had a beautiful grey at one point, don’t think he was any particular breed though.

Goodness, they are all gorgeous. Keep them coming.

We have had a variety of cats over the years as my friend is a vet. Occasionally she would ask me to take an abandoned kitten, just overnight as opposed to leaving it alone in the surgery! She knew I was a walkover who wouldn’t want to part with it once I took it home??‍♀️?

This beautiful cat has a nature to match Jane. No idea of gender as the coat is so thick. Thankfully our cat flap isn’t big enough or I am pretty sure it would take up residence along with PC!

Welcome back Gabriella.?

Lovely pics everyone, am enjoying seeing them.We have had cats all our lives, but since the last one died, because of circumstances ( life getting in the way of plans) we haven’t yet acquired another one.
