We just wanted to wish a warm welcome to all new members of Gransnet. flowers

In these difficult times, whether you are self-isolating or just looking for friendly chat as a distraction from the constant bad news, having an online community available at all hours of the day and night has never been more important. Gransnet users are always ready to offer support, conversation and (virtual) company.

So please pour yourself a cuppa (or a wine) and use this thread to introduce yourself. brew And if you get stuck we have a page on getting started, which you can find here.

Also, if you're looking for an easy first thread to post on, look out for the regular Good Morning thread where users greet each other every morning.

A good idea to start with Mick’s Good Morning page to get a ‘grip’ on who’s who. It’s a gentle thread and a chance to see what other GNs are up to.

Hi All new here! Just trying to navigate my way round the site - seems wonderful!

Hi all,
Looking forward to some interesting chats!
At the grand old age of 60 I was given the wonderful gift of my first grandchild who is now 2 yrs old and who I care for twice a week with the help of my hubby.
He's a funny little chap, the grandson....well so is hubby actually haha! And our lives are so much better with him in it.
I enjoy crafts.. when in the mood...mostly making surreal collages from magazines, started in lockdown(a surreal time eh?!) Also lino printing and Gelli printing...youtube if you are interested!

Oh, and other reason I am here is that the discussions are a bit more me now.
I am a fairly young gran. Previously I wasnt quite ready for some of the topics being discussed.

May change my username at some point. I am not one to change names. But not sure this name is the best one for me. We shall see.

Hi

Rejoined today

Been here years ago for a while. No idea what my previous name was. May come across it again one day perhaps.

Probably changed a bit from when I was last here. On social media I have become a bit less gobby over the years.

Recognise a couple of names from when I was last here.
Partly rejoined as it seems a bit more lively than before?

Thank you, Nana3, Blossoming, Ro60. I work from home at odd hours (and am too susceptible to distraction!).
