Let’s hope it doesn’t come to this, but what item of food would you hate to do without if it just wasn’t available anymore?

I would really miss my evening mug of proper cocoa, not hot chocolate, real cocoa.

I live on eggs and porridge so cant see either of those being scarce. My OH eats a lot of chicken with sauces and rice or pasta ,both rice and pasta looked in short supply in Morrisons at the weekend ,the other staple is cheese ,all cheese ,so I might buy a couple of extra blocks next time we shop and grate the hard cheese and freeze it .Drink wise Teaevery 20 minutes when we're home the kettle goes on but we always have hundreds of T bags in store ,different types ,There'll be enough from that stock for at least 3 or 4 months

Tea probably and my fodmap friendly cake (Spanish Orange Cake).

I was really surprised to see how depleted the "free-from" shelves were today - even the lactose-free milk was down to a couple of litres. Still, I suppose everyone is stocking up a little even if they aren't trying to become loo-roll millionaires.
