There is only one term that annoys me in relation to my nationality, that is when people call me Scotch, when in fact the term is Scottish. Pedantic, I know.

Scotch, as you know is the golden nectar or as my DH (a connoisseur) calls it, a wee nippy sweetie.

Lime cordial just isn't the same, they gave me that at the pub the other week (15 days ago) and it was too sweet.
