write!

GracesGranMK3 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:31:23

Did you right this Grannmarie. I hadn't seen he was holding anything!

Grandmamaoftwo Sun 29-Mar-20 16:31:08

Sorry is it 40?
1 trainer 5 + man 5 = 10
× 1 tie 4 = 40

Joelsnan Sun 29-Mar-20 16:30:50

92

Smileless2012 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:30:25

38

1 Trainer = 5 + 5(man) + 10(trainers he's wearing) + 4(straps he's wearing) = 19

19 x 2 (1 strap) = 38

GG MK3, I had to really enlarge the man on my phone, and put on my 'best' glasses, to see the details !confused

Farmor15 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:28:57

43 (In post it looks like 43.2)

gillybob Sun 29-Mar-20 16:28:10

So 48 ?

GracesGranMK3 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:27:53

If the guy is wearing a pair of shoes I am never going to be able to see them. If he is then it's 40 if not then 20. Yes?

Grannmarie Sun 29-Mar-20 16:27:53

Remember to multiply first...

2× the man and all he is holding/ wearing, then finally

+. 1 shoe smile

gillybob Sun 29-Mar-20 16:27:43

Just opened it on a larger screen .can now see the little man holding the sausages , wearing shoes grin

Farmor15 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:26:16

This was in our family WhatsApp group yesterday and definitive answer is 43. 2 things are important - BODMAS rule and what man in last row is wearing and and carrying. I’ll post explanation if anyone wants

Callistemon Sun 29-Mar-20 16:26:06

5 + 5 + 10 + 4 = 24 then multiply by 2 = 48

GracesGranMK3 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:25:47

Grandmamaoftwo it's times the zip/tie whatever.

gillybob Sun 29-Mar-20 16:25:13

Can’t make the picture any bigger on my phone so if the guys wearing a pair of shoes then 40 .

Callistemon Sun 29-Mar-20 16:25:06

Just double click Elderflower

Callistemon Sun 29-Mar-20 16:24:33

Look at the man in the last row Grandmama

GracesGranMK3 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:24:19

You are right Gillybob.

My last line should have read

(1/2 a pair of trainers) 5 + (man) 5 x (1/2 pair of zips) 2 = 20

Very sneaky :-)

Elderflower2 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:24:17

Teach me to click on picture to enlarge hmm

Callistemon Sun 29-Mar-20 16:24:03

There are no brackets

Grandmamaoftwo Sun 29-Mar-20 16:24:00

I think it's
1 x trainer = 5
1 x man = 5
1 x tie = 2
Answer 12

Elderflower2 Sun 29-Mar-20 16:23:34

112

gillybob Sun 29-Mar-20 16:23:00

I passed my 11 plus ( believe it or not ) and I’m sticking with 20 . grin

Callistemon Sun 29-Mar-20 16:22:17

1 shoe = 5
1 man = 5
2 weights = 4

1 shoe plus 1 man wearing 2 shoes holding 2 weights = 24
multiplied by 2 = 48

Grannmarie Sun 29-Mar-20 16:22:16

Gardener44, we're nearly there...

Working right to left,

2x
1 man wearing 2shoes wearing 2wristbands holding 2wristbands
+ one shoe
??????????
