Just that really grin

1. My daughter left me a heart doodle in my work notebook ❤️
2. My legs don't ache quite as much anymore after my daily Joe Wicks workout. I like to think this means I'm getting fitter! grin
3. I have the best job

Over to you!

It's my birthday!!
Never posted before, been a shy lurker!!
I've had lovely online videos from my family, one DD in Leeds and one DD n Sussex. Seen all 4 grandchildren.
For you wondering, I'm 66 today !
I have underlying health issues, had TB in both lungs in my late 20s consequently have badly scarred lungs, I have my own little business which has obviously had to be put on hold.
Going to put 'spring cleaning' on hold today and have a glass of wine!
I am on my own, walk my 2 dogs and as my new hobby is running {c25k} I run 3 times a week.
I live in a very rural area so can go out and barely see a soul.
I wish everyone all the best xx

I'm decluttering the house
I'm doing more in the Garden
My family and I are all well

chrissyh Thu 02-Apr-20 14:41:54

We are all well
I have an amazing DD who is busy paramedic but makes time to not only get our shopping, but shopping for our friends who have nobody else and deliver to them 15 miles away.
Whatapp video calls with friends and family.

My mothers day flowers from 'Bloom and Wild' which arrived in bud on Friday have now opened up so I could send DS and DiL a picture.
All my family are well.
A young man I know who's in hospital with pneumonia is improving and his pregnant wife is ok so far.
There is always much to be thankful for!

Having my wonderful husband to share my isolation with.
Our good health and that of our children and grandchildren, so far at least.
Our beautiful new grandson born a week ago, boosting our determination to survive the current health crisis.

Milly Thu 02-Apr-20 14:09:53

I am well, as are my family, at the moment.
I can see the great grandchildren on WhatsApp videos.
My daughter found me a greengrocer who will deliver, as well as Wiltshire, so as long as they have access to food I wont starve, and wouldn't Third World Refugees like to say that.
We have nothing to complain about compared to them. I expect they would happily change places with us, even with the virus.

My DIL arrived with supplies. DDG was in the back of the car and blowing kisses. Oh joy!!!

I also managed to secure an Iceland delivery slot, thanks to a heads up from a Gransnetter. More joy!

We are safe at home with food in the cupboard
I can say "we" and we're still laughing at crazy things together & able to face time grandsons & very new granddaughter
Spring is here & lifting our spirits

Reading what others have written has certainly given me food for thought & helped me to put life more in perspective for which I thank you.

1 My family all well, son and two granddaughters recovered from six days of high temp and feeling awful, no cough though so not sure if covid-19 related.
2 Mr P and I are lucky to be safely tucked up at home
as will be the little birds busy setting up home in the nesting boxes.
3 The world is still turning, the sun is shining, blossom everywhere and people can still laugh and love.

Aepgirl Thu 02-Apr-20 13:31:05

The sun is shining
The birds are singing
And, best of all, I will see my family on FaceTime tonight

1. The environment must be improving with no air flights?

2. People are appreciating each other and what they have

3. Spring is in the air

Xxxx good health to everyone

I am feeling cheerful today. For once I am very grateful that we live out in the sticks with a huge unkempt country garden, and several rooms to each have our own space.

Don't know why, but I am feeling like I'm on holiday although I work from home 2 days a week. I am getting into this, accepting it, may change tomorrow of course.

I am grateful for online/WhatsApp/telephone chats with friends, we have a laugh.

Fitness and good health, 4 grandchildren and 2 daughters. I now know how to see and speak to them on the tablet. 2 West Highland Terriers that make me laugh and mean I can legitimately go out and walk in the park.

Misha14 Thu 02-Apr-20 12:22:55

Teaching and telling stories to grandkids on Skype.
That my 98 year old Mum is coping isolated in her assisted living apartment
The birth of a friend's first grandson.

Laurensnan Thu 02-Apr-20 12:21:18

My coffee machine arrived today ....I bought it with the money I'll save on my daily Costa coffee?
My family are safe.
I'm not alone while in lockdown. I've been married 38 years today and we still have each other.
The Queen concert I was looking forward to has been rescheduled , not cancelled ?

Barmeyoldbat Thu 02-Apr-20 12:21:11

1. The family are all well and coping
2. Had a group chat with the neighbours by leaning out our bedroom windows. All are well
3. Sun is shinning and I am going out to do my exercise on my bike.

janthegranx6 Thu 02-Apr-20 12:19:53

I'm having time just to listen to my own needs - eat when I like, sleep when I like, speak when i like

I'm having time to experiment with my art rather than have to 'make' something someone else likes

I'm enjoying the courtesy of other daily exercisers who have stopped 'cutting me up' on the pavement because they are no longer on their phones

Thecatshatontgemat Thu 02-Apr-20 12:15:17

1) A spin dryer arriving today, as my washing machine has
died a death. Spinning out towels and duvet covers will
now be a relief.
2) Getting stuck into my new stash of paperbacks.
3) Hand feeding my beautiful blackbirds.
