Challenge of the day #2 (2 April) - 3 reasons to be cheerful today

I am still alive.
So are my family
My lovely resident 21 year old GD
has just brought me a lovely cuppa in bed

The farm shop delivered lemon sponge.
I’ve discovered WhatsApp.
I darent post the third one but let’s just say I’m glad we moved in together before all this started....

We've just finished the jigsaw

My DIL is dropping off shopping, ( I hope) and my wee DGD may be in the car. I haven't seen her for weeks. ?

All the family are well.
The garden looks lovely.
We can walk daily in a lovely park by the river.

The sun is shining.

We are still OK, so far so good.
We have shelter, water, food, heating.
We can still communicate with the outside world through technology.

* I have snowy white sheets blowing on the line
* The chemist ordered me some eye drops that I really needed and couldn't get and I just picked them up! (I had been panicking that I wouldn't be able to get them)

My mixer master arrived I baked cupcakes today
I have my favourite most favourite PJs on
Oohhh my husband found removable tape so I can tape my photos in the frames and I don't need to buy it
Interesting that was quite difficult to think of today's specifically to be cheerful

The sun is shining
All my family are well
My daughter sent us a joint birthday present of a Facebook Portal so we can all keep in touch. It allows for superimposing heads features. Great to see the grandchidren rolling on the floor with laughter.

Thankful for:
- a new day
- time to reflect
- good health (mine and that of my family and friends).

1)Myself, my dearly loved family (the only ones I have) my husband and daughter, are all well. 2) Our dear cats, all 4 of them, are well and happy. 3) We have a home, enough food and plenty of dvds and Netflix!

I'm not over 70 so I'm still allowed out to shop.
I have a huge stash of yarn which I will be knitting into gifts for the future.
I'm not alone, I have DH to talk to.

1). My children! (Such love)
2). My garden & the current good weather
3) The internet & the many good things it brings
& a fourth - my XH lives thousands of miles away so I don’t have his negativity making what I am looking upon as an enforced holiday into something less than pleasant! Instead we just chat like the old friends we now are.

Lovely flowers in the gardens I have passed on my walk.
Discovered another post box with early collection, could be useful.
Daughter no longer in quarantine, so she drove past together with beautiful granddaughter aged 15.

So so good for DH and I. Seeing my little GS giggle on facetime when I tickled the screen! Hearing my small GD singing a tuneless song on facetime!

So happy that am crying...stupid eh?

My friend gave me some begonias in case I can't get anything else to plant.
My son is collecting my Click-and-collect order this afternoon.
So I will see him, yay!
It's another beautiful day here in Devon, perfect for daily walks.

I'm working my way through my wool stash
I'm safe in my home
My oven and my windows are super-clean
