Just that really grin

1. My daughter left me a heart doodle in my work notebook ❤️
2. My legs don't ache quite as much anymore after my daily Joe Wicks workout. I like to think this means I'm getting fitter! grin
3. I have the best job

Over to you!

Bonfires.
I am shielding at the moment so I can't go out ..
As the weather is lovely and to get some fresh air we are told to open the window or spend time in the garden .
So why does everyone think that it's OK to light a bonfire does it matter that you have a heap of crap in your garden no one's visiting no one's going to see it .
This virus affects peoples lungs if you already have a problem it's not good .
I've come to bed and my bedroom stinks of smoke from neighbours fires my lungs aren't good.
Please stop lighting fires just for the hell of it.
First time posting so being polite at the moment.

I am sitting at my computer with all the doors and windows open (it's warm and sunny here) and listening to a Tui singing in the tree outside.

They have regional accents but if you go to this site you can hear what is delighting me and uplifting my spirits.

Having the time to sit down and talk to my OH.
Going retro and making a few phone calls to friends and family rather than text or email

A big smile and a wave from the driver of the bin lorry this morning, when I opened the door to shout 'thank you'.

A lovely chat on WhatsApp video with two of my GCs, 200 miles away.

Clapping the wonderful NHS with the neighbours this evening.

My grandchildren are 5 minutes up the road and I will see them soon - they aren't in Australia!
I don't have to get up early
I don't have to wear a bra!

Family all well.
Sunshine and flowers.
Walking my little dog.

Hauled out my watercolours a few days ago . It's relaxing me . Time passes quickly .

The new buds on the trees, the birds sharing the bird feeders, a photo of my 3 yr old grandson proudly showing off his milk moustache.

1. My very small beautiful GC sent a video saying they loved me and missed me
2. There s some wonderful magnolia blossom out near here
3. At 8 pm I’m attending a wedding in New York, via live streaming.

My friends brother is still alive after a massive heart attack, saying prayers for him.
Nicest surprise ever, my son raked up the leaves in my flower bed, ready to start planting some flowers smile
Yay, my daughter (in her own apartment) cleaned out her closet and it looks wonderful!

Auntieflo Thu 02-Apr-20 17:23:12

Purpledaffodil, well done on your outing.
Little and often, and you will get there.

newnanny Thu 02-Apr-20 17:22:53

@grandmama that was the fake news canals clearer but sadly no dolphins as yet. The story about monkeys going bonkers as no tourist to feed them was fact.

newnanny Thu 02-Apr-20 17:20:30

1. None of my family have Covid.
2. 2 sons who still live at home are furloughed so no longer have to go out and risk themselves.
3. I have a Morrison's delivery slot for April 8th.

I am well, and so are my family.
I found a Silver Swans online ballet class.
I can smell a sausage hotpot in the slow cooker.

My family and friends are all ok. I have a warm house and enough food. Im so much less tired this last week and sleeping mych better.

Purpledaffodil Thu 02-Apr-20 16:35:33

Tree stump which was in the way of projected tiny vegetable patch has been removed by DH with a combination of high pressure water and BFI.
I had my first walk out in nearly 3 weeks. Was worryingly weak and wobbly so will try to repeat daily.
Lovely card and flowers to celebrate our Golden Wedding on Saturday arrived from amazing bridesmaid. (Thank you so much Fleursgranny)

We are still alive
My family, especially my darling 11 month old grandson.
His new brother or sister due in September (when hopefully this will be over)

Conni7 Thu 02-Apr-20 16:23:57

We've had a family Zoom session from four different countries. This technology is magic.
I've had so many offers of help that I'm overwhelmed.
I've just washed my own hair and it doesn't look quite as bad as I feared!

Grandmama Thu 02-Apr-20 16:11:03

World wide -

1 There is no pollution over northern Italy and Beijing
2 The people of Mumbai can see blue sky
3 The canals of Venice are so clear you can see the bottom and dolphins are swimming in them

Eloethan Thu 02-Apr-20 15:36:45

It's not raining (at least not yet!)
My husband made lunch today -authentic Indian food
I got an email from my cousin in Northumberland

AlisonKF Thu 02-Apr-20 15:19:41

I am well used to being alone so no worries.
I have got the hang of Zoom meetings on my tablet and was present at my newest grandchild's first birthday in London along with his cousins, my grandchildren in Brighton and my other son in Worthing. I am in Suffolk. It is unlikely that we would all be in one place physically.

Bathsheba Thu 02-Apr-20 15:10:06

It’s a beautiful sunny day
Some of my family live close by so we can see them from afar on our daily walks and have a chat
I’m still alive
