So I dont know about anyone else here but this lockdown is making me tired. Usually I'm buzzing about going for walks or meeting with friends. Now I'm just stuck at home with hubby doing practically nothing.

My tiredness came to head last night when I fell asleep on the sofa with a full cup of tea in my hand... I'll let you fill in the rest lol. Let's just say it's been quite a while since my crotch has seen that much hot action grin. Hubby found it hilarious, came out with a good pun, "have you tead your pants again". Incase any of you are worried I didn't burn myself just gave me quite a shock.

Hope this gave you a laugh. Love to know if this has happened to any of you smile

What a waste! Was it one lump or two? grin

Just glad you didn't scald yourself. I've never done that myself ? by falling asleep but I have done it, including shortly after arriving in hospital in London. I have epilepsy and drinks can end up all over the place, including over other people ???

timetogo2016 glad I could brighten your day smile

Glad you suffered no harm, BP. The last time it happened to me, it also drowned my laptop and cost me a lot to get it fixed!

Something vaguely similar happened to me when I was on a cruise. A (very entertaining) magician) was on stage and I was totally engrossed. Without warning something ice cold landed in my lap and soaked my dress. The lady in the next seat had fallen asleep and tipped her gin and tonic over me. She was very apologetic and offered to pay for cleaning but, luckily, it was washable. I don't think my squawk put him off too much.

Oh yes. I only just managed to wake up - but it was touch and go!

CardiffJaguar Tue 14-Apr-20 10:23:12

My wife says that I do that without falling asleep!

I thought the washing machine had solved the problem of red wine tipped onto the seat covers in the early stages of lockdown, when I was barely sleeping. Sadly, I see it is still apparent. He told me off initially about falling asleep with wine in my hand, til I burst into tears with the stress of it all

Nothing like that has ever happened to me, BabyPink, but don't be shy of reporting any others you have!
Excellent start to my day. Cheers ??

I'm isolating with my h, so bored done so much cleaning tidying cupboards. Reading. Crosswords and even a adult colouring book. But get so tired I think it's lack of exercise as I'm normally out and about most days. But I'm not moaning, need to stay safe so we can see friends and family again.

I regularly fall asleep doing all sorts of things but I make sure drinks are always on a coaster on the coffee table next to me. So far no disasters of the liquid spillage kind but as I usually have a laptop on my lap I have to be careful of liquids. I've destroyed 2 laptops - one by tripping over the cable when rushing to answer the phone and the other by putting it down on the floor then tripping over it and treading on the screen! So far laptop 3 is surviving. Let's hope this isn't famous last words...

I too am glad you didn't scald yourself.

I upset a cup of coffee over myself in the same place when I was 14 and had to walk through a room full of adults with a nasty looking brown stain south of my navel on, to make matters even worse, an off-white woollen skirt.

I wasn't asleep, but had a hot cup of coffee in my hand when my cat jumped up onto my lap and knocked it. Thankfully I had a thick jumper on at the time so managed to pull it away from my chest in time to stop it burning me. Never seen the cat move so fast smile

I get two sleeps a night, I always start watching something on TV, only to wake up in the middle of a totally different programme, it take s me a while to figure out its not the same as before. Then it's about 1.00am so I make it up to bed. Unfortunately, having had such a long cat nap, I don't get back to sleep until about 4.00 am. And then I get up around 7.30 or 8.00 am. It's difficult for me to get out of this pattern, does anyone know if it would do any lasting damage. My cup of tea is usually on the table but is undrunk and cold.
