Well I will be going up into the loft to see what hidden treasures are lurking. That will keep me amused for a while

phoenix Mon 13-Apr-20 18:23:38

Still planning, although I have dusted the lamp shades.............

Well, it shows willing.

BlueBelle Mon 13-Apr-20 17:39:42

Sweet f a

Auntieflo Mon 13-Apr-20 17:38:39

We have continued the lazy day by watching the first episode of Killing Eve, series 3, on IPlayer.
Then later on we watched a DVD, "MamaMia, Here we go Again". Not as good as the first one, but good music.

Nortsat Mon 13-Apr-20 17:13:24

Grocery delivery and veg box delivery
Washed all the groceries
Read an article in the Guardian suggesting it’s unnecessary to wash the groceries
Had a toasted tuna melt sandwich for lunch
Made a pot of carrot and coriander soup for lunch tomorrow
Re-watched episodes 1 and 2 of Wolf Hall, which is just as terrific the second time round
Corned beef hash for supper.
Utterly thrilling day ...

Millie22 Mon 13-Apr-20 15:01:34

I'm going to make an apple crumble.

Annapops Mon 13-Apr-20 14:42:20

Dancing to swing music and then after lunch running on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Some reading and I may even consider a walk along the old railway route path. Now that the house has been Spring cleaned do I now start all over again? Hmmmm!

SirChenjin Mon 13-Apr-20 14:25:59

No it really isn’t Sue. Two of the workers were in front of me in the Co-op and they paid by cash - so massive potential for spreading it as visitors to the area angry

SueDonim Mon 13-Apr-20 14:21:14

That’s not on, is it, Sirchenjin? angry

SirChenjin Mon 13-Apr-20 13:55:46

Missfoodlove that’s a gorgeous colour, MrFL has made a very good job of it smile

Sue rant away! I phoned the police in a foul mood earlier - it appears that the builders on a local site (they’re building a cafe and takeaway so not essential work in the slightest) have decided the lockdown doesn’t apply to them. No social distancing, vans in and out - so the police are going to have a word with them. I’ll be checking on them again tomorrow and will phone them police again if they’ve ignored their warning. I’m so angry ?

grannymy Mon 13-Apr-20 13:52:27

You are all putting me to shame! I feel at the moment that I have little motivation to do anything. I am just having a quiet day at home before returning to work in the hospital tomorrow.

Auntieflo Mon 13-Apr-20 13:42:43

Post, not pat.

Auntieflo Mon 13-Apr-20 13:42:25

I tried to pat this just now, but it wouldn't post.

We have been very lazy. Got up late, again, had breakfast,
and I set Rover off to vacuum the bedrooms.
DH steam cleaned the kitchen floor, (after a refresher lesson).

We walked to the shops, so combining exercise and shopping.

Came home had coffee, and watched Killing Eve, on IPlayer.
I will do some knitting this afternoon, as my knee is too sore to be too active, and catch up with GN.

Auntieflo Mon 13-Apr-20 13:29:04

Phoenix, it's all in the planning.?

MerylStreep Mon 13-Apr-20 13:18:30

I did my exercises with Joe Wicks. Housework, a couple of hours on the phone, whitebait and freshly baked bread for lunch.
Now it's time for a marathon trivial pursuit game. I'm a member of 2 quiz teams so I spend a lot of time reading general knowledge trivia. My weak spot is soaps ?

Lisagran Mon 13-Apr-20 13:04:43

Well done Mrfoodlove ! He has a new career ahead post lockdown! Your hair looks great

kazzerb Mon 13-Apr-20 12:59:21

Listening to day four of the Neighbour drilling, sanding, door slamming and their 4 dogs howling and barking !! angry

Missfoodlove Mon 13-Apr-20 12:59:19

Seems MrFoodlove is handy with the old hair dye.
Must say very impressed!!
It was an online purchase from ESalon, you answer questions then send a picture and the kit arrived. pronto!
I’ve gone darker as advised but no more roots or brassy bits, really chuffed??

SueDonim Mon 13-Apr-20 12:38:23

I’m in a grump today. ?. No particular reason, except I want Easter to be over with. This lockdown is rather like the Easter Bank Holidays of my childhood - five days of boredom where everything was shut and we weren’t allowed out to get messy or to play, and if we did go out anywhere in the car, nowhere was open for a cup of tea.

We’ve only had one day of nice weather this weekend, it’s a heady 7deg today, and I’m sure I’d feel more positive if it was nice and sunny.

Oh well. I feel better for that rant. As you were! grin

newnanny Mon 13-Apr-20 12:32:59

We had our Easter roast lamb yesterday, so was hoping for a bbq in garden with just us as delivery slot arrived. Dh said he will cut the lawn. I have a face time date with my sisters this evening at 7pm.

TerriBull Mon 13-Apr-20 12:29:18

Did some French, had breakfast then we went for an hour long walk in Bushy Park. Will probably fill the rest of the day reading my book having lunch, a bit of ironing, having a chat with a couple of family members, preparing dinner, some on line yoga stretching and maybe some more French......and a bit of time on GN of course. TV later.

Teetime Mon 13-Apr-20 12:11:02

Had a long walk beside the river very early and only saw one or two people. The home for the day usual mixture of cooking, TV, reading, crosswords, glass of wine zzzzzzzzzzz.

Lisagran Mon 13-Apr-20 11:58:59

Just made some easy Banana Muffins, using up 2 manky bananas. I only used 1/2 the amount of sugar and they were still very sweet.

EllanVannin Mon 13-Apr-20 11:57:24

I've got the washing on the go as it's a great wash day, sunny and blowy. I love fresh towels, even though one or two are getting a bit cardboardy but great for the circulation grin

EllanVannin Mon 13-Apr-20 11:54:00

Hahahaha, Missfoodlove, your DH looks as though he's about to paint the skirting board. More at home with doing that I suspect.

Coolgran65 Mon 13-Apr-20 11:10:58

The sun is shining and I planned to was my car.
It was on so bitterly cold so far can wait
I may iron, might bake......
