Well I will be going up into the loft to see what hidden treasures are lurking. That will keep me amused for a while

cavewoman Mon 13-Apr-20 09:09:44

Good luck. We've not been up for over 10 years. I hate mice and he hates spiders.

Joe Wicks excercises, Shower, brekkie, 45 min walk, coffee, lunch then some iPlayer or gardening if it’s sunny. Pretty much my daily routine now.

TrendyNannie6 Mon 13-Apr-20 09:19:13

Well I expect to see a ? or two, They don’t bother me, but a mouse would! Last time went up into the loft was around a year ago was all good then, but I can’t remember what items we put up there lol

Well, as it meant to be a bank holiday, I will not be doing the cleaning, but I will go for a walk, do some gardening. My Zoom Tai Chi class will be running as normal at 1.30 and after that I will relax with some sewing.

Some work emails arrived for DH this morning, they are urgent so he is busy at work.

Lucca Mon 13-Apr-20 09:25:19

Reading bedtime story on FaceTime to grandchildren on other side of the world, online yoga, face yoga, a couple of crosswords, a bit of tidying(maybe). Walk for exercise. FaceTime mire family and friends, read a book watch tv.

Usual Monday stuff. Washing, cleaning etc. Later I'll pick up my crochet and catch up on some telly.

I am now finding it very strange. We have memberships for all the London Museums, Kew Gardens and English Heritage. I just took for granted the fact that we can pop out on a whim. It is taken a few weeks for the effect to hit home

I am teaching myself to knit with 4 needles via youtube .So far on this lockdown I have made 3 rabbits, one bear and 3 little dolls. I am cooking slow roast honey lamb leg and baking a a coffee and walnut cake.

When we first went into lockdown, it did not bother me much. As time has gone on though, I feel the need to occupy myself during the day. Also I used to really enjoy sitting down in the evenings to watch tv but I can’t really be bothered with it now.

Going to our allotment to water and do some maintenance. Will be cooking what we should have had yesterday as after struggling for hours with b.......y Microsoft on laptop,(both our email accounts have disappeared, ) I couldn't face roasting a chicken with spuds etc. Had a bacon sarnie instead! Also do second lot of washing for DS, the washing machine in his rented flat has died as well as his oven! Landlord can't find anyone to mend them.

Fiachna50 Mon 13-Apr-20 10:14:54

I will be reading and stuffing my face with the last of my Easter egg. If it's nice might sit outside and read, but weather not meant to be great here till Wednesday.

I’m going to bake some scones, hang out some washing, do some more washing, scrub a floor, clean out DC3’s wardrobe of clothes he’s outgrown and I’ll go for a walk. I’ll probably watch another episode or two of The Repair Shop (which is fast becoming an addiction).

Davida1968 Mon 13-Apr-20 10:34:59

Thought we'd go out for breakfast, then meet friends for coffee, all go to visit an NT property & gardens, maybe some shopping.....plan our holiday.... In my dreams!!!

phoenix Mon 13-Apr-20 10:44:10

I'm planning to spring clean the sitting room.............blush

Did some housework, I then put on TV to watch a programme I normally watch on a Sunday morning Saturday Kitchen Live reruns, but now they have gone Daily Kitchen Live after BBC breakfast prog.

Joe Wicks workout.

Boil chicken carcass, chop veg, add Pearl Barley. It is now simmering ready for lunch.

About 1pm we are having a Zoom video chat with Partners daughters.

May make a fruit loaf this afternoon, or sit in garden as it seems to be brightening up . I am reading a lot of books lately ?

M0nica Mon 13-Apr-20 11:04:26

I do not know where you live NannyJan53, but where we are there will be no sitting in the garden. There is a wind straight from the Arctic. I went for my walk with a thick fleece over the summer clothes plus cardigan I had been wearing yesterday.

I was so cold, the wind blew straight through me, that I had to cut the walk short and skuttle back home and change into winter clothes again.

I may try some gardening, in the greenhouse this afternoon.

almostelderly Mon 13-Apr-20 11:04:49

A walk with the dog on the local rocky beach, and no, we won't be driving to the sea. 3 hours with Dolly Parton this evening that really is a treat.

Missfoodlove Mon 13-Apr-20 11:09:01

I am sitting in trepidation waiting for the timer to ping for my first ever home hair colour.
MrFoodlove has done my roots then it’s the rest?.
My husband is a man without a feminine side, he didn’t even know why I had a dark streak on the top of my head!!!
Don’t know if I’m brave, foolish or completely barking.
If there is a good outcome I will post a pic.
If not I will wear a hat.
Wish me luck

winterwhite Mon 13-Apr-20 11:09:15

I'm flopping out exhausted having been telephoned and Zoomed at by the DC all day yesterday. More tiring than organising egg painting and treasure hunts when they were young. ?

Coolgran65 Mon 13-Apr-20 11:10:58

The sun is shining and I planned to was my car.
It was on so bitterly cold so far can wait
I may iron, might bake......

EllanVannin Mon 13-Apr-20 11:54:00

Hahahaha, Missfoodlove, your DH looks as though he's about to paint the skirting board. More at home with doing that I suspect.

EllanVannin Mon 13-Apr-20 11:57:24

I've got the washing on the go as it's a great wash day, sunny and blowy. I love fresh towels, even though one or two are getting a bit cardboardy but great for the circulation grin

Lisagran Mon 13-Apr-20 11:58:59

Just made some easy Banana Muffins, using up 2 manky bananas. I only used 1/2 the amount of sugar and they were still very sweet.

Teetime Mon 13-Apr-20 12:11:02

Had a long walk beside the river very early and only saw one or two people. The home for the day usual mixture of cooking, TV, reading, crosswords, glass of wine zzzzzzzzzzz.
