Spotted this conundrum on Facebook and finally got it right after a number of errors. So thought it would be fun to see how you do with it too.

Post your answers on the thread (ideally without explanation) and we will post here at 5pm with the correct answer (and explanation)

Yes, they are part of the animal kingdom, being classified in none of the other groups ie Monera, Protists, Fungi, Plnrs.

Bathsheba gave her explanation right back on page 1. She worked out the answer with the version that the elephants saw 2 monkeys each (25) and then that they all saw the same 2 monkeys (5). Apparently the second version was right. Pot luck if you plumped for that one.

The answer was 5.

Jannicans, the elephants saw two monkeys "going towards the river", so it wasn't just the rabbit.

1, only the rabbit was going to the river, it only saw the others while it was going to the river.
