We have decided the time has come for us to ditch Sky. Its been on our minds for some time, especially after the last price rise, but are a bit confused re the outcome.
We've been told that the box and outdoor dish will remain and that we'll be able to get all Free To View programmes (are these the same as Freeview?). All we'll lose are the channels provided exclusivly by sky such as the Movie Channel and the Sports channel.
Is this correct?
Then we've been told about a little gadget called TV Buddy (costs £38) which you plug in to your TV and this provides multiple programmes. It sounds too good to be true, so probably is. Is it?
Does anyone know anything about this 'amazing' product?
(We've obviously looked at other providers such as Virgin, and boxes for Freeview, but we're trying to cut costs to a minimum and are now counting such things as luxuries.)
What actually helps a small website get noticed online?
