Annoying adverts

The death adverts...... buy death insurance...... pre pay your funeral..... all using the words “when you pass” whatever happened to the word “die”. The past week weve had an uncle die, and today heard of a friend that died last night. They haven’t passed!! Don’t need continual reminders we’re all creeping toward the end...

Those awful vodafone voice ads.

I don't watch TV, purely for that reason and if I do catch something, husband hits the remote to switch it off. What I also hate is that the noise level goes up every time an advert come on. And don't start me on Tony Blair allowing all this betting!, the worst thing that could have happened in this country with all the addiction problems.

The Aviva one where a woman is quizzing a man about what type of locks he has . Might have been mildly amusing the first time I saw it but not the 101st!

Mostbof these are just funnily awful. The new Tampax ad is horrible!

It's got to be the gambling adverts. What do people sold on these sites not understand? To put an flashy ad on TV costs a packet. The people portrayed look confident, well off, sociable... the reality is broken families, heartbreak and debt. What pays for the adverts? The children of gamblers, the family and loved ones, the friends watching unable to stop the addiction. So we stop advertising fags and move on to a not deathtrap. The Advertising Slime make me so angry.
Then there's the poison called air fresheners.....

New member here, first time comment. Has anyone seen the new Tampax ad, where they demonstrate how to use it properly!? But yes, all of the adverts mentioned in previous comments are annoying. I also laughed at the "actually pretty" comment and "perf with Surf"??

“A little bit of wee isn’t going to stop me being me”.........argh!! Get your pelvic floor exercises going instead of wearing crinkly awful knickers!! Any funeral plan - especially the one where he’s in the conservatory with the binoculars .......hmm, bit dodgy if you ask me. And as for Viagra man, why on earth is he wearing black ankle socks? So alluring and attractive in the bedroom!

Does anyone else scream “Floating Petri dish “ at the cruise adverts? And agree about the funeral plan ones. With current legislation. I would imagine funerals are much cheaper, no refreshments etc. I wonder if people get money back from those plans?
And didn’t the RCN complain about the post natal incontinence ads? Certainly it hasn’t stopped them. ?

All of the ones already mentioned but particularly the Perf with Surf one. And I think ALL gambling ads should be banned, including bingo ads.

The Black Horse one. I used to like it as the horses are so beautiful, but now its on EVERY single break!

And there’s a fairly new one about how a couple’s life has changed? From buying nice things to buying a pushchair. And then they spend another 94 seconds and .... ? 94 seconds?!

I hate that vacuum cleaner one that startles me with an image of flea eggs clinging to carpet fibres. I have a strong stomach but it annoys me the seller captures my attention with an ugly image I can't unsee.

Anyway its effect is self congratulation I have no carpets to harbour insects' eggs.

I don't watch anything with ads! I tape everything shown on a channel that has ads and speed through them. NEVER watch them under any circs. Why would anyone want to?
