Hello to everyone else. Hope you keep safe and well.

Taichinan , there is a ? emoji but it doesn't look like it spits. I'm often losing posts to. I sometimes lose them when I've nearly finished typing and sometimes, like last night, they won't send. It frustrates me greatly ? as I have dodgy fingers and a dodgy left thumb, and I'm left handed, so my typing is very slow. It can be a real grrrh moment! By the way, I do think you put across what you wanted to in a lovely way ?

Whether it's deliveries (I haven't been affected by that) or mail, a lot of things seem to be going "missing" atm. Easter cards were posted for us by the volunteer, one (with gift inside) has not been received yet the others (some with gifts inside too) have been. One of my friends from my epilepsy support group ordered a new carpet steamer - order dispatched, then disappeared and so has the money. Feels like people are being taken advantage of at this time.
I'm sure you've all seen that scam post, and I know some of you have reported it, flooding all the forums today. Apparently, scamming is on the rise with everyone being in lockdown. Exploitation at it's very worst.

I do not believe it! I've just spent 25 minutes typing in here, having spent 90 minutes reading all the posts first, only to do something, I know not what, which has resulted in me losing the lot. Is there an emoji for spitting fire???????. Now you'll never know about the panoramic view from my window and how the sun lights up the distant hills, or the wonderfully eclectic subject matter of my WhatsApp with all three DCs. (Have you all been saved from a fate worse than etc?). Never mind, I'm sure you'll all survive. GrandMattie lovely to hear your DD is at long last back on UK soil, and artySue I love your description of your cosy Cornish flat - it made me feel all snuggly. Curlywhirly I'm with you regarding the length of Lockdown. I think there may be a slight easing of some restrictions in maybe a month or so, but I've felt from the beginning that this will go on until at least September. That's my mind set anyway so I'll not be disappointed when there's no change at the end of this next three weeks. I just don't know how those poor young families cope, cooped up in flats with young children. My eldest son would have gone crazy, he was always so active and had to be outdoors to play whatever the weather. But as Captain Tom said, we will all come through this and it will end. Googes41 I have hard flooring everywhere throughout my house. The main reason being my cat used to bring home fresh evening meals and it was difficult to clean the mess offa carpet.

The only place I have 100% woollen rug is either side of my bed but Tara stills claws at it.

I had a large rug downstairs which was a trip hazard and I ended up breaking a toe and being in plaster for weeks.

I do not have a problem and it is so much easier to see if dust has been missed when cleaning.

Our Hermes courier is excellent, Gabriella, it's the national hub which always seems to be the problem.

However, these are difficult times and patience is a virtue.

Hermes and Yodel in my neck if the woods are perfect.
Yodel delivery Wed and again today (6 more drops before mine) and my place is hard to find. I leave location finder on on my phone to help.. and usual snack as a thank you. ?

‘Squashed moth’. New carpet in small bedroom. Seriously thinking about wooden flooring in other bedrooms?

Mary I can sympathise. I am getting snappy with my DH especially about the dog and how we should give him the eye drops. Seems we are just both too stressed.
I would go and make some coffee but the dog is finally asleep in the kitchen!!

That made me giggle Marydoll Mr.GG has absolutely no idea that the room he walks through to get to the garage contains the washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board and assorted cleaning products, so that will never happen here

That includes me, when I nagged DH this morning for putting on the washing machine with only ONE item in it!
There was a bundle upstairs waiting to go on.
I suppose I should be grateful, he actually knows how to use it.
What puzzles me, is that the bottle of detergent was empty, what on earthdid he use?

I may have to have a cuppa and a guilt free , home made macaroon bar to calm down. ?

Good morning from a very wet and dismal market Harborough. Three more weeks of this and I will be to lock up! I know there are people worse off than me but right now I am feeling sorry for myself, so sorry for this rant.

Good morning from a grey and chilly Newcastle. My day has just been made considerably brighter by a long-awaited parcel delivered by our wonderful postie dressed as Spiderman. Yesterday he was a ladybird complete with fairy wings. It is a small but heart warming thing to do.
I slept badly last night and found myself thinking about gillybob and how unfair it is that she is going through such a very difficult and stressful time.

Big cat has enjoyed her cat milk this morning. I haven’t got one drop of almond milk for my coffee and I was quite envious! I hope Morrisons have stocked up for the lactose intolerant like me. It’s little things taking over thoughts at the moment. Milk is not essential at all really.

Good Morning from a rainy Black Country,

Decided to go for a walk yesterday, first time out since 18th March. It was weird, everything so quiet, hardly any traffic etc. We walked to our local park and back. Took just over an hour.

Had a WhatsApp from my niece who is in Australia till October. Because of the time difference she managed to get a Tesco slot for my 90 year old Mum for 8th May! I am amazed really that she has had no contact from anyone in officialdom? At least my DD is only 10 minutes drive from her. Nieces Whats App's came through at 3am, luckily I had my phone switched off.

NanKate I would like to be a fly on the wall in your house today . When we have anything new in technology, it takes us a while to figure everything out. Even the new Dishwasher had us flumoxed for a while!
