If anyone enjoys watching the life of the ospreys - the first egg has just been laid at Loch Arkaig. The webcam is live and gives a wonderful up-close view of the nest.

I wonder how many generations of Osprey have nested there?

We took our two children when they were under 10 to see them.

Thanks for the news about the egg. I've just started watching the ospreys.

There are webcams of peregrines and owls on the Hawk and Owl Trust website. The eggs of the Bath peregrines are just hatching.

I've also been watching the Edinburgh Zoo webcams.

Nature carries on regardless of what we do to cock it up.

Watching blue tits taking the sheep’s wool we have put out for them.

The sheep’s wool is sent to us as insulation to our frozen meat.

It will compost so nothing wasted.
