REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL! (Tongue in cheek)

I planted some seeds from a pepper that I was chopping up..they're about 3" high now ?

The bluebells in the woods were just breathtaking. First time weve been to our local woods since lockdown. Appreciated them so much more today. Really wanted to gather up a huge bunch to take home as I did when I was a child.... but I didnt ....you're not allowed

Oh, and one of my sunflower seeds seems to have germinated

They had the malty munch ice cream back in stock in the village shop!

I was so ridiculously over excited by this, that I forgot to consider wether the toffee fudge one might have been an option

I've just opened the bottle of white wine that my hairdresser bought for me. I really do know some nice people

Even though it's raining, and expected to to the same the rest of the week, that means that my plants in pots are getting watered and the water butt is getting filled up.
Just about all of the trees that I can see from my house are wearing their spring coat of that lovely bright green.

My daughter has sent me a helium balloon in a box for my birthday cos I'll be on my own. And a balloon is company!!!

Jet2 have just refunded our holiday payment in full with no argument at all.

It’s too wet to mow the lawn!

My garden waste bin has just been emptied, first time for two months!!
Oh, the anticipated joy of filling it up again.

I have had the virus and recovered. Everyone that I love is fine.

Lucca yes, it did! Although the fact that I still don't know what it was is a tad concerning (still think it was a skin tag, although not sure they appear that quickly)

Aaanyway, another reason to be cheerful, my very subtle hair dye arrived!

Mr P may have to help with application, last one I did alone as my hair was still very short, but it grows like a damn weed!

Mr P has offered to cut it for me , but I politely declined.

I had let my hair go to its natural sort of silver grey, but have found a colour that just sort of "warms" it up a bit, and gently fades away without the dreaded roots!

More reasons?

We are both well, live in a lovely part of the country, are coping financially and are both managing to WFH reasonably well so far.

We have so much to be thankful for.

I’m cheerful because I’ve just found out that there is such a thing as a pineapple Jaffa cake. Oh my! Thank you for that, shysal.

I've done some long overdue tidying today.
Lots of stuff is now ready to chuck out.

I`ve actually got a Tesco delivery slot!

I’m cheerful because:-
We’re all well, employed and housed
We’re not short of food,
I seem to have found my mojo (thought it might be furloughed again)

I'm glad that:

all my family are well
Him Indoors is getting his 80% furloughed wage
I'm back to work tomorrow

Heard my first cuckoo of the season yesterday.
I have a pack of pineapple Jaffa Cakes calling to me from the kitchen, never tried them before.
Zumba exercise video coming up on GN in 14 minutes.

May7 I found it puzzling when doing my on line supermarket shop that I could only have 2 single cans of ready mixed gin and tonic, not allowed 3. But I could have 2 multipacks of 10.

I bought OH a turntable ( record player) for his birthday yesterday and we are enjoying playing all our LPs from the attic.
I got a delivery slot for next two weekends.
Garden starting to look colourful.
