This works really does work, I bought it for my sister and she found it a great help during a very distressing time in her life.
Mandelson failed security vetting. Starmer says he didn’t know
Missed Call - anyone watching?

I paid £10 for mine and it arrived in a huge box with lots of brown paper padding.
They do have pretty frequent sales.

Whose the 'dull tart'?
There’s a good offer on the Thisworks pillow spray at QVC - £26 for 150ml (it’s usually about £19 for 75 ml)
Thank you Gabrielle
Thank you for the reminder, I'll find ours.
@Urmstogran a thank you, it’s going to be a very long day, evening and night.
Welcome to this lovely thread Alishka from another Midlander. Rain hasn't stopped here though, I have just made some scones in desperation of something to do!
How exciting Maybellex lovely to hear some good news x
Please, may I join in? I'm in the midlands, the rain we've had stopped, and my two 'pet' crows are bathing in the puddles. I've found a tube of stale Pringles, so a few of those can be their late lunch. Desperate times for all of us
Good unexpected visitor just now! My hairdresser, who works in the city but lives near me thought I might need 'hydrating' so bought me a bottle of Oz White in her Tesco shopping. How good is that?
It is a lovely sunny blue sky day here in Northumberland. No sign of any rain as yet.
Hope to hear your good news tomorrow Maybellex!
??
grandMattie it is This Works deep pillow spray.
Thank you Ellan?
Just take it easy today Jacq hopefully a good book to escape into to take your mind of worries. A nasty fall does take longer to get over at our age, gives us a shock plus that bit longer to heal. Take care and hopefully your day gets better to lift your mood.
Loving the rain today - No barbecue smoke to cause wheezing and I’ve never had this problem. Its PJ day today as my daughter is currently in labour in hospital with her first child 2 weeks early, she herself was 10 weeks early.
After a pasta lunch I’ll be in my waterproof Mac digging in the garden.
Could someone remind me of the name of that sleep spray, please? My DD came back from NZ and can’t reset her body clock. This might help.
Ah better late than never Maybe ?
Glad you enjoyed your walk and chatting!
Too late for a good morning from me. My walk took so long with so many dog walking friends wanting to talk it was after 12.00 before I got home. Dull and drizzly here in Chester and doesn't look as if it is going to change anytime soon. My garden really needs a good downpour of rain. A little light housework for me today followed by an exercise session and then some reading. Have the best day to can all.
Nothing so frightening as a fall Jacq10, it shakes you up more so than the damage done sometimes. Take it easy.
Susan56 I can remember a couple of my GC having problems feeding---some 30 odd years ago and one of them was introduced to Soya-based milk which settled him down.
I do hope something can be found which suits Henry as it's so worrying x
Glad the medication is helping for now anyway.
jacq10 glad you’ve ‘bounced back’ from your fall. ? as quite honestly it will have shaken your confidence in the short term. Go steady now. No running around .... x
There are ways and means of finding things out. In England, one can pay £3 to the Land Registry to download info about who owns what property, whether leasehold or freehold, the price, boundary lines etc.
Estate agents publish info on prices and dates of bought and sold properties in any area and often the Electoral register people verbally give out info confirming certain data, in any case, you can find it out by Googling 192 .
It's surprising what you can find out.
Oh Marydoll please don't allow that very unpleasant man to intimidate you and your lovely neighbours. You must still take your chairs out and chat across your drives, and still get your family to deliver your shopping and medication. It is him that is in the wrong - not you! What a complete piece of work he is.
Good Morning All x
Would you believe I started to read these posts an hour ago !?
Dull with the odd spot of rain but seeing as the internet was playing up first thing I hurtled out to the corner shop early enough to get the last pkt of crumpets plus a small fresh loaf.
By the time I'd finished buying " a few bits " I was laden with two carriers in each hand, on the heavy side with cat food and potatoes, it was nearing 11am and blow me the grass-cutters had started up so I couldn't hear the TV and nor was there any silence ! Nothing between the ears of some folk.
That poor dog Dragonfly, I'd be beside myself with worry as you probably are. I hope the hospital can get him sorted x
Marydoll, you should have ordered a different spray as well---for that horrible man. You can well do without that.
Gingster, glad your DH is alright, he'll have to take care now and not overdo things. I had a TIA nearly 3 years ago and was already on warfarin and statins, which obviously saved an awful lot of the symptoms that some have with a mini-stroke. All I'd noticed was a stiff leg and dizziness----which you can get at anytime.
It was only when I went to the GP being fed-up of being dizzy that she sent me via the emergency entrance of A&E to get a CT scan which showed a" slight "bleed on the brain. No follow-up and no further treatment, just anti-sickness pills from the hospital, for vertigo.( didn't take them )
Gillybob you should get financial help at some point though it's going to take a while I suspect. I think once you get confirmation on this assistance you'll at least be able to breathe a bit easier xx
Yes, Urmston, I'd rather be sitting where you are than where I am rain or not. I enjoyed my times in Spain and once you're allowed out it'll be brilliant. x
GabriellaG54----sausage and mash today
It's the wholesome comfort that I'm after I think. Well-buttered mashed potato, yummy. And a fresh pineapple
A late coffee in progress now so wishing everyone well xx
Morning Mick and followers. I wasn't going to come on here today as I have been feeling low (and sore) since my confrontation with the pavement on Sunday. I got very gloomy last night and the weather forecast was rubbish for today but after a really poor night's sleep got up this morning and they seem to have got it wrong and the sun is now shining so I am about to get dressed and get out to sit in the sun and see if that will help ease my bones. I don't take lightly to not doing stuff - am a bit of a "hasher" when I start and the thought of having to restrict myself has really depressed me. I also feel after reading the posts on here we seem to be really down at the moment and wondering if this all the talk about the lifting of some restrictions is worrying us. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Marydoll's neighbour is also on my mind - why buy a house in a nice cul-de-sac and then antagonise and isolate yourself the moment you move in? "Nought as strange as folk" I think is how the saying goes!
