I dont hate Boris , I’m sure he’d be good company at a dinner party but he was a useless Mayor of London, dreadful Foreign Secretary and unimpressive PM. The fact that we are leading the world in CV deaths is not “success” in my book.

At the end of the day its just another baby born safely, all well and good. As for the rest, well we all have our opinions on good old Boris and those that disagrees are usually shouted at for not being in the Boris Fan Club. I really dislike the man, in fact I can't stand him for all the reason GillT57 and Trisher mentioned, so I see no reason to gush over his baby and so called family life. That is my opinion like it or not.

Perhaps I shouldn’t have said hate, but I’m getting a tad fed up of unpleasant comments on Gransnet on a variety of threads by a few people who don’t seem able to help themselves.

Firstly maddyone I don't hate Boris. I think he can be mildly amusing, I think he made an excellent panellist on HIGNFY and had he confined his activities to that sector I might even be a fan. I don't think he is to be trusted with high office. I think his track record of cheating, lying and taking the easy way out is frightening, especially with Cummings in the background. I think his record as mayor of London and the attitude he then took to public services is disgusting, and he may have changed as a result of his illness but I'm afraid like most things with him, it won't be long lasting. And I think the hero worship currently exhibited on GN is very worrying.

We all know that if it was Angela Merkel or Theresa May who had loads of kids with different partners, who cheated on her spouse and retook up with a younger lover she wouldn’t be indulged and worshipped. She would be hounded out of office, she wouldn’t even be in office. Hypocrisy.

Adultery is a sin if you are religious. If not, it’s cheating, not nice and the partner has been wronged, and it’s not easy to forgive.
However the Profumo affair was a long time ago and things have changed. MPs no longer feel obligated to resign because of an affair.
We all know you hate BJ trisher but he is the Prime Minister who was elected. You need to get over it.

Yes trisher adultery is a sin , breaking of marriage vows, but
also accepted is it not always the adulterer who first breaks the
