Learning something new

I learned to play the recorders and clarinet but, like MiniMoon, I never practised enough in my teenage years. I've tried to learn the piano several times but I can't seem to separate my left and right hands. They always follow each other no matter how hard I try

I could never get away with the recorder. I tried to learn it in primary school but was never very good. I took up the violin in secondary school which I really enjoyed. I could have been better but when you're a teenager you don't want to practice!
Good luck with the recorder, perseverance will pay off!
My sister learnt to play the guitar as an adult, I haven't tried to learn anything new, but I would love to learn to play piano (if we had one).
