Popping round to a friend for a
or
Deciding what time of day I would like to go to the supermarket or indeed browse in a shop
Go to a film or a play with family or friends - or even alone
Be a “lady who lunches”
Walk in the gardens of a NT stately home
Visit or be visited by any of the family - cooking them a Sunday lunch perhaps and giving the grandchildren a hug.
I do hope I will appreciate all of these when (if?) life gets back to a semblance of normality.
In the meantime I shall just have to contain my excitement at the announcement that green wheelie bin collections resume the week after next.
Mandelson failed security vetting. Starmer says he didn’t know
