Wow! Yet I have seen programnes which have featured women and men stealing from employers to fund a lifestyle behind their normal means.
Even bank staff. It beggars belief that these people who are trusted by their employers to administer the accounts, find ways of fiddling the books. More and more of them are women. ?

This thread is rapidly going from the surreal to the ridiculous - and to think all that started it was the frustration of not getting a Sainsbury’s slot ???

Never been lucky to get a Sainsbury slot despite lots and lots of attempts. We are 70+ but not eligible for a special slot. we're both healthy but are trying to self isolate.

Had a couple of deliveries from Morrisons (nearly 3 week wait for both). Two click and collects from Asda (10 day wait) and now getting a Waitrose delivery (10 day wait) next Friday.

Main problem is never being able to get some essentials. Also on day of collections and deliveries, some items out of stock and some substitutions not suitable. I've chanced subs a few times (wished I hadn't).

Tomorrow for first time since lockdown I am going to Sainsbury's (closest supermarket) during 70+ hour to do a shop for veg and fruit which we have very little. Whilst there I'll hopefully get some bread, flour, pasta, rice and tinned items.

I've chanced subs too and got a couple of strange things.
However, having just managed to get another slot, I have requested No Substitutions for my Bombay Sapphire.

Yes I did wonder about the shopping because supermarkets are supposed to be operating under strict safety rules and the only stories I have heard about them not doing so is on GN.

Of course, you can never trust other customers to do the right thing!
I do find this shopping online stressful.

I have got a slot for Friday but really wanted one for Wednesday so I could make birthday boy a special dinner and pud.
