I'm neither shielded nor what they term vulnerable ie: on certain meds or with certain medical conditions, so why they show me slots early I've no idea as I don't normally shop with them. ?
I get a weekly Ocado slot and the occasional Tesco slot but spend very little time looking. In fact Ocado email to say they've just released extra slots if I leave it too long between orders.
Past loyalty doesn’t seem to enter in to it. We’ve manly got what’s needed from the nearby Lidl. Sometimes we queue for about 15mins and sometimes go straight in. Don’t always get what’s on our list but so far there’s usually a reasonable alternative.
I think Sainsbury’s have caught on to the fact that DH is a shielded person and we seem to get a slot from them every week. Not so Waitrose although we’ve shopped with them for years.
I tend to get a Sainsbury's slot on a Saturday morning. I choose a Tuesday because the delivery man said you are more likely to get regular slots if you steer clear of weekend deliveries.
Ah! but think of the grand party you can have with all that stash when we're freed from our bricks n mortar prisons. You can invite the neighborhood. Popular girl.
Blooming 'eck. Just spent 25 mins looking at that revolving wheel telling me 'processing' when I was trying to checkout my next week's Sainsos order. I never ever thought it would come to this. Anyway. Plenty of choice for Wed pm and all day Thurs Fri Sat right now but they'll be gone in 5 mins or so. Isn't it weird? What's it like where you are.
