Dieticians are delighted that the lockdown procedures have forced us into a more healthy way of dining, namely, wholesome healthy home cooking. smile
After several weeks there should be a marked difference to your "curve", whether measured by weighing scales or tape measure around your waist.
Or are you still too frightened to find out? grin

Not sure about that, by all accounts there’s quite a bit of prowling round the kitchen, wondering whether there’s anything else nice to pick at! Certainly in this house anyway.

Having said that, my stomach has very noticeably deflated, but I think that’s because I’ve had no bread for at least 10 days now, since I suspected I had some sort of intolerance, at least to the heavily seeded granary type we always have.

I’ve still been eating other carbs and chocolate though. Big jacket potato with plenty of lovely butter last night. Followed by a ? amount of Fruit and Nut. What we rarely had anyway was cakes and biscuits.

I’ve lost 3.9 kg since the beginning of March. Prior to lockdown, I was simply cutting out the rubbish (and alcohol) to trim down a bit, as we were due to be on holiday in Australia for a month. However, since lockdown, I’ve been exercising to an old Zumba CD for 30 minutes every morning and due to possible food shortages, practicing “mindful eating”. For example, if I feel like an apple/biscuit/bag of crisps/banana, I ask myself, “how long until we can get this replenished?” That holds me back.
I’m drinking a lot more tap water too, after noticing how often the dishwasher gets full of mugs, so I’m cutting down on coffee and tea too. I’m hoping to come out of this trimmer and healthier, ready to face whatever lies ahead!

Oh dear. We seem to be eating very well and pretty naughtilly too really. The rationale being that it's bad enough being banged up as it is. However, I make soup with fresh veg and all the meals are (pretty) wholesome. The cakes, biscuits and chocs in between? Not so much!
