Above average temps again today; 20+C; Not bad considering we're on the cusp of Winter.
Poor Mums, living in Victoria and NSW! It's Mother's Day on Sunday, but the two Premiers involved have decreed that lockdown conditions will not be reviewed until Monday, meaning family visits will be very limited. hmm
Not that our family, or what's left of it, would worry! Too much "commercialisation,"' same with Father's Day; we always claimed that every was Mother's Day, although I must admit she never got flowers and chocs every day, nor have I ever been inundated with socks! grin
Now that some States are jumping up and down demanding a return to "normal" times I'm thinking we should resurrect the Puritanical Society; We've done the groundwork during weeks of "hardship," so why throw all that away? All we need is a few Maggies! hmm
Unfortunately, Melb. continues to have new cases in a couple of retirement villages for the elderly and also that abattoir. There's no indication yet as to when the final whistle will be blown, or by whom, with so much politics involved. sad
Oh well! Let's hope the EPL gets up and running soon a la Germany; even without spectators it will be exciting.
Good Health
