Chilly!

Cold and windy in the South yesterday and Sunday. " N'er cast a clout 'til may is out" as they say.

However it's in full bloom down here so that's an old wives take obviously.

Very cold here in the NW last night with the heating on from teatime to bedtime. I'm quite near the sea so you can feel the cold blasts more so.

It rarely gets as hot here as it does Southwards at the best of times and to my mind there aren't the hot summers as once were many years ago with the atmosphere still retaining that " coolness "----unless it's more noticeable since I've got older, I don't know.

When you go abroad, the warm air is evident,,, it never is in my part of the world as I never seem to be without a jumper.
I don't know about global warming. Winters here are more like the Ice Age.
