Strange ad on Facebook........?

I wish you hadn’t posted that MissAdventure - I was getting into the habit of going to the cupboard with a spoon for a sneaky raid of the peanut butter jar. You’ve put a stop to that!

Yuck! Not to mention that unless you have excessive ear wax (does happen in some people, especially if they wear hearing aids; you can develop muffled hearing, ear pain, and itching) and you've been told by a licensed health care provider to clean your ears, you're better off NOT trying to remove earwax.

Earwax actually serves a vital function. It's slightly acidic and helps to protect the ear canal from infection. In addition, it's also produced only in the outer third of the canal, so trying to remove it using a cotton bud or similar can actually push it in deeper and cause an impaction.

Well, that's put me off my peanut butter on toast.

Oh, I think I get that advert too! The one with a pair of tweezers pulling a ginger slug out of an earhole? Revolting! I scroll past as quick as I can, does anyone look at it?

If it said how to "remove" earwax, then I could possibly accept that...........

No danger of Dipper Mill being flooded just now. A friend of my son was washed away with his mother in the early nineties in a brand new car. We went the long way round. (Apologies, slightly off topic but Phoenix will get it.).
Facebook does keep sending strange adverts. At one time it kept trying to send me to some obscure place in America on holiday.

I think I know the ad. you mean,*phoenix*. I've seen it, not on facebook, but on other forums etc I use. It's a bit explicit/gruesome to say the least.
It seems to have disappeared now.
