Release at last - what's everyone doing differently now?

I’ve walked in my immediate area for weeks now, so am driving to places, parking and walking somewhere different.
I drive and walk as carefully as I did before so hopefully I won’t require an ambulance/hospital bed.
Shops aren’t appealing so I’m avoiding them and shopping online. I fear the rise in online shopping will sound the death knell for more High St. shops.
There have been no new deaths from Covid in my local hospital for 3 days and no deaths at all in my postcode area.
I am taking this as ‘green shoots’ for a brave new World.
I’ll be brave.

I live in Scotland where we are still staying at home . I fully expect a second spike in England due to VE Celebrations flocking to beaches and parks and packed buses etc . Is croquet worth it ?

You are right Jennifer life is a risk! That's what my DH reminds me but he's a very sociable person and misses it. I'm not, so doesn't make that much difference to me.

@ygddrasil totally agree. Nothing is changing in this house too risky, we value our lives too much to put ourselves at risk unnecessarily. Bojos' message was so ambiguous that I'm not surprised that most seem to think we now have carte blanche to return to life as we knew it.

Not doing anything different for the time being. Thinking about taking DH for a drive. But just thinking about it at the moment

We had a second round of golf today and everyone was behaving beautifully. The English Golf Union have laid down strict rules for how courses must be managed. I expect our croquet club will also start again soon. We have four lawns in a huge park so people can be well spaced and keep their own mallet and a ball each.

Still in lockdown here in Scotland and on this occasion I agree with Sturgeon. Not often that happens.

I’m delighted that we have teachers’ unions who are exercising common sense while others appear to have lost theirs.

I could drive to England and go for a walk without fear of arrest on the border.

So far, no change so we might play boules in the garden (no room for croquet).

Its croquet for goodness sake, the OP, is taking her own equipment, going on the green 2 at a time, observing social distancing, I wish people in parks and supermarkets would do the same.

Go and enjoy your croquet. I think people who have not ventured out at all think all people should do as they do.

Happy to stay put in Scotland ,with the death of my friends 34 year old son this week ,myOH 's uncle last week and several aquaintances since March if staying in lockdown until August or later stops people losing loved ones I'm willing to do it.
The recent deaths on Skye show how easily it can be carried to other areas ,these 8 elderly folk may have been hale and hearty IF the owner hadn't imported staff from Kent AFTER Lockdown .I'm very pleased the NHS has taken over the running of the home

I'm not doing anything different. I don't drive so can't go anywhere by public transport, there's no extra shops open or anything else and I'm retired so what else would I be doing differently? In any case, I think there will be a rise in infection rates with the commuters back on public transport.

Still in Lockdown in Wales. Glad that we are really as the virus hasn't gone away.

With the whitsun holiday about to begin, a lot of coastal towns have taken steps to discourage day tripers from visiting the coast. The Sea fronts and businesses along the North Yorkshire coasts have been told by the local council to stay closed, including all car parks and public toilets. The ever popular Scarborough North bay has been cordoned off to all traffic and is pedestrian only access, blocking off what is one of the largest parking areas n doing so.
