Im not a lawyer, but a client is paying a lawyer a tidy sum to get off!

I wonder what goes through your mind when you have a client who swears to you that they didn't commit the crime but it's beyond reasonable doubt that they did when you see the evidence against them? Is there a part of you internally that goes 'I know you did it' even though your job is to defend them?
