I’m feeling really, really miserable so I’ve bought

Celtic Connections is the a great way of seeing stars old and new ,Some years we've been to 18 or 20 concerts over the 3 weeks, we try to get the Danny Kyle live stage in the concert hall where its all brand new acts and some of them are fantastic well worth going..its free every evening from 5pm I think for a couple of hours ,then onto someone we know .always a great night out
.Try to make it up next year if its on,Gilly and MissAdventure Glasgowand its a time of year when we all need cheering ups a great city

I was feeling miserable about losing my holiday - so I bought a hot tub and now holiday at home. The weather is delightful so after a soak, with a glass of wine and a good book, soak up the sun on my Lounger. I must say I do feel guilty and wish everyone could be so lucky. Keep well

It is not a waste of money if it brings you joy. I love the Moody blues and have been to see them down in Brighton a couple of times in the last few years. We were sitting quite high up and we could see the audience with silver hair or bald heads but they were still getting up and dancing in front of the stage! Justin Haywood is still gorgeous! Graham Edge however looks a bit like uncle Albert from 'Only fools and Horses'. He had a younger drummer helping him out. He got up and did a little monologue and at the end said 'It's still drugs, sex and rock and roll but the drug of choice has changed, it's Viagra'! The audience roared with laughter

I bought some garden plants from B&M and chocolate. A t-shirt from Next. Paint from Homebase online.
On the subject of The Moody Blues, my all time favourite of theirs is 'Go Now' 1965 I think. I bought a cd of theirs not long ago just for that one song.

My favourite song of Moody Blues is also 'Go Now', (since you gotta go oh you had better go now......). I still remember the words. I also like Quadrophenia by The Who. My daughter lives an hours drive away so I play half the CD on the way and the other half on the way back ?

MarieEliza sometimes bbc4 often show old TOTPs. They obviously avoid any that are presented by sex offenders, but Tony Blackburn was safe, so you may be lucky

GrammaH, I bought the 5th Avenue 3/4 sleeve hour glass one. I liked it so much I've ordered another since, that's the purple dress, same shape. Love them! I just need somewhere to wear them now...

So far two pairs of shoes, two t shirts, vegetable seeds and plants and two books for book groups as libraries are closed. I usually try to borrow the books from the library, but ours won't be opening for ages. They were stamping the first of July when I last went in. I'm intending to buy fabric for trouser making, got the samples last week, all good.
