GGumpteenth identified herself on a thread earlier this week.

I’ve missed POGS - we had different politics and could disagree but never fell out. I appreciated her analysis and ability to remember detail.

I too miss POGS. She posted the most well researched and articulate information and was never cowed or harassed into silence by those who frequently disagreed with her on the News and Political threads. Like Iam64, I didn't always agree with her political outlook but she always presented her opinions without resorting to shouting anyone else down or insulting them. And I admired her for that.

I liked POGS too. Always reasoned debate from her.
What I don’t like is that all these posters have gone missing and we don’t know where they are. I know some choose to leave but in these times it bothers me. I don’t care what their politics were, whether I agreed or not with them, it bothers me that they’re not here.

I need to apologise MOnica hasn’t been on GN I ve been hunting and hunting but it was an old thread that someone had obviously renewed I saw her name and thought whoopppee didn’t have time to go any further

Hi beige is still here. I post most days on Limericks as I find it entertaining if I can think of a word which rhymes - some are a bit of a challenge.
Have posted on Good Morning Saturday today, earlier than usual as I woke up stupidly early. I'm a real thicko with modern technology and my brain freezes when the pc plays up. With tech it's like a screen has come down over my brains and it says, 'out of service.'
Funny thing is, I can post on the pc but not on the phone. I don't know if it should be one or t'other or both. Perhaps I should run off to a log cabin on a mountainside somewhere away from it all but I'd miss the modern world.

Hello Bellanonna I'm here KatyK as was. Bless you for noticing. I came off GN after a being 'ticked off' by some posters a few times for what I believed to be innocent remarks. I don't need that at the moment. When I rejoined I couldn't seem to use my old name so used this one. I am now more of a reader than a poster. I still enjoy reading everyone's posts and chip in occasionally.

JaneRowena left GN a long time ago. Shame because we used to swap tips and ideas on the gardening thread and she used to post lovely pics of her garden designs.

We were going to meet up when work on the A11 was completed but then she disappeared.

I think her DH wanted to move so I wonder if she still reads Gransnet?
