Do we have any famous people on here?

Perhaps it’s just me but are people on here really bothered or impressed by fame or celebrity? Please let there be at least one space on social media that shuns it.

I did once get mistaken for the actor who played the werewolf in the Monster Show at Universal Studios. I played along so as not to disappoint the little 6 year old wannabe actress. I had my photo taken with them too.
In the background my brother was slowly sliding down a wall in fits of laughter.

Sorry no prizes MawB, I am just me! I haven't been around on the forums very long but I do recall the person you are confusing me with. Gabriel is my real life nickname and 56 is the year I was born. I'm going to read through thread now to find out why my "virtual doppelganger" would wish or need to change her name!

A name none of us had seen before. The only thread I remember seeing her on and drumming up votes for Susannah Reid! I began to smell a rat then jings pointed out she was only around on a Friday. Blooming cheek.

I remember falling for all the flannel in the early days, kitty. Very flattering pms etc., etc., then I noticed she would disappear during the week after Strictly had been aired.

I have done several radio interviews, and had a rather cheeky conversation with Prince Charles at a dance when I lived in Windsor Castle, but definitely NOT famous!
