Back in the 1970's I bought a contraption for making briquettes out of newspaper. I unearthed it in the shed the other week and am starting to make my own fire fuel again. I'm pleased it never got chucked out...

While clearing out 'that' drawer in the kitchen, i came across some old bayonet forceps used for dental extractions. I debated throwing them away but have just used them to remove the stone from some nectarines that are about to go on the barbecue!

I just knew we'd need them sometime!!
