Saga magazine and Saga holidays

Never been on a Saga holiday. Have been with another company now owned by them.

Chatting to fellow travellers, the impression was that Saga was for the really elderly, not sure how true that is?

We have received the Saga magazine for several years now. It started when we were offered a really cheap 3 year deal. It has increased in price now, but nowhere near the £4 cover price.

The direct debit is renewable towards the end of the year, and I am seriously thinking of cancelling. I counted once and almost half of the pages are devoted to advertisements. Subscribers are eligible for various perks, but where I live not easily accessible, days out, cheap theatre tickets etc.

I don’t rush to read it as soon as it drops through the letter box, but apathy has contributed to not getting round to stopping my sub.

This is just me, but I wouldn’t miss it.

Some articles are interesting, some I don’t bother to read.

I did subscribe to the magazine , plus a few other things they did a penfriends and partnerships thing at the back where you could get to know others that way.
But they also had a Facebook page called Saga Zone or a webpage unsure , but I used to originally do a Good Morning daily on it plus you also had meetings etc , no different from Gransnet regional groups for lunches etc .
The webpage was withdrawn due to idiots who had no link age wise to the 50+ age users with abuse language wise, saga moderators chose to withdraw the webpage
