Hi all,
I had a fall down the stairs today (in a bit of pain on top of my usual chronic pain) so I'm in bed early. I am really indulging tonight. I've had pizza and chocolate and now I'm lying on top of a throw that I'm using to pad the bed a bit, I've got on the most comfortable pair of pyjama trousers and nightdress, and I am wearing a hoodie (which I normally wouldn't dream of but this is the second night of wearing one as I have felt out of sorts). I'm going to have my hot water bottle, hug my giant teddy, drink lemonade and watch the television. Night all. X

FH. you really must take more water with it!!! ,, ! Seriously I am very sorry you have had another fall hope it’s not too painful and that you get a good sleep with your hot water bottle and giant teddy. Night night x

Stay comfy, FlyingHandbag

I hope you get a good night's sleep.

Take care with stairs! I know how easy it is to fall down the wretched things.

FlyingHandbag is this another fall on top of the one where the wall collapsed and you fell down the stairs on the 25th May?

FlyingHandbag, I hope you get some sleep and feel much better when you get up.

Thanks all, I am sending love to you all. I didn't fall down the stairs when the wall collapsed, I fell up the stairs and pulled the wall down. X

Also, I would highly recommend sleeping on top of a fleece throw if you are in pain, it really helps. X

Just watched 2 whole series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (reality tv is a huge guilty pleasure of mine). X

Take it easy FlyingH.
I’d introduce you to my sister (pre lockdown) if I could. She trips in and out of her kitchen- to-garden door regularly even though she has good shoes and eyesight, and she’s lived there 40 odd years. Last time 3 weeks ago she fell in the door, an ambulance was called by a neighbour and they took her to A&E and stitched her leg. She says she doesn’t know why it keeps happening. I dread the phone ringing in case she’s done it again!

I hope you feel better today, if not stay in that comfy bed. ? ?
