I am writing a story for the GC and I need a long list of words beginning with F. The list so far is frazzled, frightened, fearful, so any more along the same lines would be great. They do Not have to be English, or real words, just words that sum up a state of fear.

The heroine of my story Is s ‘righter of wrongs’ and is designing a website to advertise her business if that helps.
Thanks.

Thank you everyone for contributing to my story. It has now gone to the GCs. The whole family is helping them with their literacy by taking it in turns to start a story and they have to finish it.

They are all so sad about missing school. No amount of home schooling can make up the friendship and group learning at school.

Here's a couple of Cumbrian dialect words

'Fratch' it means to bicker, squabble, when kids fight we say they are Fratching.

'Frae' - where you Frae? Where are you from.

'Fyass' - yes it means face grin

'Fettle' - often heard 'How's 'T Fettle' meaning how are you.

'Fistle' - to fidget

On that note Tarra Marra!
