Scam PM

Was this the post yesterday , it said. Give me money I want it now, That was deleted very quickly. , if it wasn’t I didn’t get one from Dr Roy. Feeling left out , !! But I do know of a very rich Nigerian Prince who wants my bank details so he can deposit millions in to my account, Well just wait till he wants it back and I tell him hard luck Princey, I have spent it all , !!! That will teach him ?

I declined all private messages also.just in case..it wasnt working properly anyway, it only just sent me other messages as well, from january.

It is $$$ because the scammer is either in the States or thinks we are! Yes, you have to be a member of GN to send a PM, but there is no screening of those joining up. Any Tom Dick or Harry, (particularly the Dicks) can join and send a message. GN doesn't censor them! We are big girls now, we can delete them ourselves.

Yes, I had one and emailed gransnet to tell them but haven't had a reply. I was worried in case someone was taken in by it and got into bother.

I've had one of those today. They must think we were born yesterday. I just blocked it.

Grannybags sorry but you probably didn’t receive one because I graciously accepted their kind offer. I’ve given them my bank details and waiting patiently for the millions to arrive. I’m so excited.
Once it’s safely in my account I’m going to throw a party and you’re all invited ? ?

I’ve had two also. I had one by email a few days ago - exactly the same message but different name and this chap said he was in Malta. How do I report it to Gransnet?

I had two too, didn’t open the second, gifting me millions of dollars. Apparently I also have the same name as the deceased engineer. Apparently dr Roy is accounts manager of bnp Paribas bank so me thinks he is not to be trusted.
Reported and blocked. Hope GN do something about this as some vulnerable person might be taken in.
