Hoped you might be interested in the Archive link, particularly if you're an Agatha Christie fan.. Not sure about being read to as I can't settle down for the necessary time having to be in front of my desk-top PC. Not very comfortable!
Good to know that common sense prevailed over Fawlty Towers. Pity they can't make another episode to take the mickey out of that gaffe!
rafichagran Thank you for spurring me on and I'm hoping to cheer everyone up. even though it seems like hard work at times. I enjoy doing it, even if only to keep my grey cells churning, scouring OZ info that might be of interest.
However, my mind is pre-occupied right now having just watched fresh London riots on our evening TV News. What can you say? Some said earlier, that London only had "demos", but as with Covid precautions it was only a matter of time. There were no shots of looting, fortunately, but what was shown was bad enough. Makes OZ look positively benign, even with our Aborigines and "Black Lives Matter".sad

Another interesting article in "The Weekend Australian"
"Medical experts are confronting a growing number of people falling ill after relentlessly trawling social media for answers on the Covid 19 virus and the economic and social fall-out"
"The Morrison govt. has said it will hold the social media giants to account for false and misleading medical information posing risks to the community"
Even Bill Gates and the 5G network are being blamed for spreading the virus!
In the US, the terms "doomsurfing" and "doomscrolling" have been coined to describe people spending hours each day, fixated with developments on the virus, the global economy and protests.
So there you are! Stay at home; do jigsaws and tend the garden, weather permitting and bury the TV remote. grin
I reproduced those newspaper head lines yesterday, knowing that several members have family and friends in OZ and that they can rest assured that we are emerging into a brighter light and that they have relatively little reason to worry! Of course, our worries go the other way with Best Wishes for your Good Health and peace of mind.
It's nearly Monday and another day of keeping the medicos employed! My GP regularly sends me to the path. lab. for blood tests to check "this function, that function and all sorts of other functions" Every 3 months and fortunately they are always within prescribed ranges
It's very good of the doc. and I look forward to each visit, especially when he keeps saying "excellent"smile
Must go! Good Health wine wine wine

Good luck at the blood letting Rufus, sounds like you are well looked after, not quite the same here, ‘phone consultations are popular, good if a prescription is needed, goes straight to pharmacy and appears as if by magic on the doorstep. However there is yet a way to be found to do blood testing over the ‘phone.
Stay Home, Keep Alert, is that like keeping goldfish or a pet!!
Cheers. ???????
