When I was young I couldn't stand the smell of lavender. Fast forward 40 years and now I can't get enough of it! I've planted some in my garden and the bees love it. Plus it looks so pretty. Funny how your tastes change over the years.

Lavender suits this hot weather as well. We have lots of lavender in the garden. I dry it and make lavender bags.

I always thought it was for older people and here I am now, that older person 😂
It reminds me of my mum and her lavender soap.

I love the smell of it in the garden.
Not in beauty products though.

I have a large lavender plant on my front rockery and recently gave it a good haircut as the flowers had faded it and the bees had lost interest. I put the cuttings in the green waste bin and even now, after it has been emptied of them, the scent still lingers. The plant that keeps on giving!
