This was the thing about uniform wasn't it.....no need to plan an outfit, just get dressed and set off for work.
Interesting that in the early days so many uniforms were made of cheap, hot and sticky nylon. And staff had no say in the matter.
Also a sign of the times (sixties, seventies and early eighties) that men did not have to wear uniform. Why not?
